The world seems to be full of aspiring photographers these days. I suppose I’m one of them.

I usually meet the others when I go out to take some pictures somewhere I think it won’t have
occurred to anyone else to go - and then have to queue up to get a decent shot.
 
I’ve never had any kind of formal training in photography and take photos mainly for my own
enjoyment. Living where I do in south-east Germany amidst some beautiful landscape gives
me plenty of opportunity to find suitable motifs. I drive past impressive views of the Swabian
highlands on my way to work, which can be a very inspiring way to start the day.
